Do you have this in your greylist.conf on tigre1?
peer 192.168.128.1

I have added the peers on both MX servers to point to each other but I don't see any indication in the logs confirming that the records are being updated from one to the other.
I have tested it by telneting into each other's port 5252 and it responded fine on both ends.
What's the best way to confirm that the sync actually works?
Thanks,
An Nguyen

If you do not use the quiet option, the easiest way is probably to
attempt sending a message by a telnet on port 25 of each MX.

You should see the remaining time decreasing in sendmail answer at the
RCPT command.

Thanks,
I've done the test but the remaining time isn't decreasing......
I wonder what else could be wrong...
Do we need to enable some option for mx sync when starting milter-greylist after adding the peer into greylist.conf?
My greylist.conf and /etc/services look fine.
Thanks,
An Nguyen

I guess that's why 3.1.1 is called a developement snapshot :-/

It's hardcoded in the source, so you need to rebuild milter-greylist to
change that (build with make CC="cc -DSYNC_MAXQLEN=4096" or whatever
value you want)

But if it overflows because no connexion can be made, then increasing
the queue length will just eat more memory before ending on an overflow.

Re: sync greylist

I just recompiled with cc -DSYNC_MAXQLEN=4096
Hope this can fix the problem...
How do you know if you run out of connexion? I'm still able to telnet
5252 into the queue overflow machine, this mean that I still have
open connexion available right?
Thanks,
An Nguyen

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
