I have added the peers on both MX servers to point
to each other but I don't see any indication in the logs confirming that the
records are being updated from one to the other.
I have tested it by telneting into each
other's port 5252 and it responded fine on both ends.
What's the best way to confirm that the sync
actually works?

Do you have this in your greylist.conf on tigre1?
peer 192.168.128.1
