and I just measured audio timing with LAWP4.5, AW8, EXS24 yesterday and
man, it is good: 

- It is *really* sample accurate (maybe +-1)

- triggering is really on the note (e.g., have a beat at 1 1 1 1 on the
  EXS and record that sound into AW8 at the same time, the difference is 
  maybe 5 samples or so.

Compare that to triggering an external Midi device... I'll use the EXS for 
the major parts of my drum tracks in the future. For me this timing is 
a dream come true. 

Also, I used the editor to build a nice drum bank. The editor works well
and it has all the right knobs (e.g. "start playing at frame #"). 

Yes, the alias-not-working stuff etc. are real bugs and are stepping on my 
nerves, but I don't regret buying this piece of software.
