Has anyone dumped the eprom codes for a 2764 eprom for an emax hd?
2013-02-02 by Ted Summers
The Emax EPROM with HD support is easily copy-able. Many Emaxes may have an EPROM that has the support in it already. But that doesn't give you SCSI capability- The TIM PAL (locking chip) does when used in combination with the OS and of course having the SCSI controller. Let me know if you want a SCSI chipset kit. They are $60 USD. Regards, Ted On Feb 1, 2013, at 10:42 PM, Gary wrote: Has anyone dumped the eprom codes for a 2764 eprom for an emax hd? [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Hi all, I am installing the OLED discplay in my Emax II keyboard. I have watched Ted's video, which explains the process on the Emax I. My Emax II has a large memory expansion board over the main board. Do I need to remove this separately or can it come out as one unit with the logic board? Are there any other differences between the Emax I and Emax II that I should know about? Tks, Daniel

its the same screen board but you need to remove the the keyboard the mainboard and the ram board to get to the screen board under neath you need to add some srews and nuts to hold the lcd screen in place as the pins for the efoil are removed so that the screen is only fixed one side

Subject: [emax] Installing OLED screen in Emax II keyboard.
Hi all,
I am installing the OLED discplay in my Emax II keyboard.
I have watched Ted's video, which explains the process on the Emax I.
My Emax II has a large memory expansion board over the main board. Do I need to remove this separately or can it come out as one unit with the logic board?
Are there any other differences between the Emax I and Emax II that I should know about?
Tks,
Daniel

Here are some pics from the screen replacement. I took most of them so I would know how to get it back together again, plus a couple for posterity: https://picasaweb.google.com/108602450026684563488/EmaxIIScreenReplacement?authuser=0&feat=directlink D.
