Emax

Hey all,

Still trying to figure out this high pitch noise issue if this is normal or not. I have a long sample of a kick and snare hit that I sampled in at 28 kHz. No pitching.

Can someone run the same sample through their Emax so I can hear if it's the same?

Please run the "original.wav" through your Emax at 28 kHz, in 1 shot without any editing. Also, the other file in there is a comparison of the SP1200 Native Instruments emulation vs the real thing I found on: Maschine SP1200 emulation VS Real SP1200 | NI Support Forum

Too me the emulation doesn't even come close to the real SP. I'm also finding that, it's hard to get my Emax as punchy as that SP1200 version.

I've also noticed in comparing to another sampler comparison site that I find my Emax isn't as punchy as others. Is this at all possible? I've tried different input amounts, still I can't get the punch the same at 1 kHz.

Anyway, I can post more about that later. My main concern was the noise issue in this.

Can someone please try this out for me?
