Hi all, I got this near new emax 2, and so I decided to give it my left over 2gb Jaz drive with a 1 gb cartridge... How long does it take to format? Been playing other keys for a good hour or so, while Mr. is formatting and it's still formatting. And it sounds as if it was in an infinite loop. Am I being impatient? Is a Zip drive ok? yes zips work as do syqest 135 and 230 flyers aswell as zip250 i have spare zip100 /250 and a number of syquest 230 where do you live

I have a 2Gb Jaz disk and had the same experience as you (even with the Emax II freezing). I guess it should work with 512 disk and smaller. Bah! The zip will do for now. When my finances get better, I'll get an external CF.
