Thanks Ted. Fortunately I used to work at one of the main music stores here in Toronto and I know a bunch of repair guys. The downside is, very few people know how to fix EMU gear in this city but, if it is that easy of a fix, I'll see if they can take care of it for me (as my electronic soldiering skills are still somewhat novice.)
