Are you saying you tried it in the Mac SE/30, and it worked, but it did not work in the Emax?
If so, then I would suspect a difference in the SCSI implementation on the Emax logic.
But if the question is rhetorical, and you wanted to spend the money you could always try it and let us know... ;-)If so, then I would suspect a difference in the SCSI implementation on the Emax logic.

It's too bad it doesn't work, because i use it with my 720kb Akai MPC60 perfectly. Works great with this application, even has internal memory that holds your last work. Couldn't be any easier. What i would like to try is this:
CF AztecMonster CF-3.5" SCSI Converter CardThis card can convert CF memory card or MicroDrive to 3.5inc. desktop SCSI interface HDD, such as Mac SE/30, Quadra, or AKAI sampler. If it works with a MAC SE/30 why wouldn't it work with the EMAX?

yamaha sy85 and sy99i have fitted them to k5000rthere is no support for them when you receive them you get some one else's softwarethere is jumpers for ds1 ds0 there are jumpers for ready and other signalsno it does not workeven in dos based machines it can be a right pain to get working
there a few other yams it works on but apart from that they dont work on most only dos based systems if it uses a pre pc format
like the special formats that many synths and samplers used you need drivers so that the emulators can do that formatand why the hxc works as they add the code so specific floppy formats work and are always adding them when people ask about there machines and they buy one and they send jeff the image format and he always tries his best to add it
