Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

i was wondering if anyone knows what type of floppy drives are 
compatible w/ the s1100? Mine recently gave out and i'm looking to 
replace..thanks!

I removed a defect one from an S-1000 long time ago, - it was a TEAC.
Maybe these guys can help.

S-1000 / S1100 isn\ufffdt listed on the site, but they have a lot of replacements 
for other machines from the past, - maybe one of these fit or they know what 
fits...

Can you eventualy mail me the direct e-mail addy of the guy who\ufffds burning 
the S-1100 4.3 OS-eproms for the S-1100 please, - I have one here which 
needs OS upgrade and service ...

is that i need either a chinon FZ-357 TEAC or a TEAC FD-

You are correct about the TEAC FD-235HF, I found one
for my S1100 at my local ghetto used computer shop for
$2.95. There's a lot of variations of that model and
I'm pretty sure as long as it has a drive select
jumper and a disk ready jumper you're good to go. I
can tell you for sure that the drive I replaced mine
with was not the same as the original but it works
great.
