What kind of foot-switch controller did Simmons use with the SDS-9? Was it a momentary switch, or a latched switch? I never had one with mine, and finding a actual Simmons one seems to be elusive. I figure I can get an inexpensive switchbox locally, but am not sure which type to buy. It would be nice to have remote control over the channel switching....

Anybody have any luck in determining what type of footswitch I need? --- In Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com, "simmonssds7fan" <ptmetcalf@...> wrote:

Paul, I have two single pedals but I decided to keep them for now. They came with my SDS-6 and is used for start and stop. The SDS-6 has separate connectors for start and stop so it needs two pedals. WT ----- Original Message -----

No problem, I completely understand. Can you tell me if they are a "momentary on" switch or what is known as a "latched" switch (makes a hard click when stepped on)? --- In Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com, "WT" <waveterm@...> wrote:
