MTM schematics wanted

MTM schematics wanted

2010-04-25 by jesper

Hi,

I want to sort out the mystery with the PSU-part in my MTM's so if any
of you have the schematics I'd love a copy.

Any knowledge about software versions would also be appreciated. My
units run v.3 (serial 114) and v.4 (serial 800).

While inside I plan to change the battery too. One is still original and
looking pretty crappy too... Will get a new one + holder next week.

thanks,

Hi Jesper ,
I see you're facing same things I experimented with MTM.
one of the most Mysterious Simmons Gear to me.
even Bill Bruford found it complicated & even Dave was surprised then by what
Bill would do with it... ;-)
so it's quite a hard piece for us.

Don't know if it helps but all my MTMs are V.4...
I have no clue of what it means in terms of added functions...

So in the end can you drive the 'V' or '7' Hihat via MIDI?

Best,
Patrice.

I'll sum it up to the list. I think more can benefit from the setup info...

I got them offlist because of the recent flaming, but they were at
Paul's site all the time. It was me who was blind...
