SDSV Module Positions

SDSV Module Positions

2009-01-22 by monzarottie

Hi all. I just received my SDSV Cymbal and Hi Hat modules today (along
with a cymbal pad and Hi Hat pedal). Woohoo! [:D]

Does it matter which slot the Cymbal and Hi Hat modules populate? I
don't want to blow anything up.

Thanks,
Roger

Congrat's and welcome in the club! (though I miss pedal and pad)

No there's no need for a special slot as long as there is room for
everything. The proms might make the cards slightly thicker than usual.

I have my cards in slot 6 and 7...

Hi There

The service manual for the SDSV mentions that you should not fit the cymbal or hi hat modules into the channel one position as the 5volt regulator on the piggy back board could short out on the cheek of the chassis.

I'll steer clear of slot 1. Good advice. Many thanks Darren

It was a three year wait and "BOOM" there they were. I'm glad I
saved my pennies as it took quite a few. Pictures coming this
weekend. Thanks for the support Roland!
