ADT vs. TMI

ADT vs. TMI

2008-09-29 by jesper

Hello list,

except the ugly design of the ADT, what's the differencies? I have the
TMI and it has five inputs. The ADT has eight - right? ANything else
worth noticing?

I'm thinking about an upgrade or simply another TMI but I'm not positive
yet...

At least ADT is more advanced and has pretty advanced features in
comparism with the TMI. Here are the specs:

But: For live drumming it's too slow (my personal feeling, I prefer an
Alesis I/O which is also not the fastest but it's also not the most
expensive) and I would not recommend it for this purpose. But in a
studio/sequencer environment the ADT should do good work

that's my intention. To use it in the studio. Will I ever gig with drums
I'll go all the way and exclude the midi crap. :)

Thanks for the input!
