Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Hello there people, would anyone out there be able to tell me how to change an American
115V SDS7 to UK voltage. Can this be done simply or is it complicated?

If you know how much the secondary output off the transformer is, it's quit
easy. replace teh original (110V) to a 230V with the same secondary output
( V+ A). Perhaps check your local electronic store, they should know how
to.

I?ve done it on a couple ( or was it three ? ) SDS-7?s and 3 SDS-V?s. If I
recall correctly, the SDS-7?s had separate windings for 117 and 230V.

On the SDS-v?s I bought new transformers.

Check the schematics.
