hello all, 80's Fusion band

hello all, 80's Fusion band

I just set up my SDS7 after about 15 years! It's dead. (well, not actually dead, but no sound
out to the amp.) I'm going to crack it open and check for a dead battery, corrosion etc etc.

However, the question I have is this- back in around '85/86 there was a 3 man fusion band
that was really Simmons heavy. I had one record of theirs on vinyl, but I can't for the life of
me remember the name. It wasn't Bill Bruford or Kazumi Watanabe- these guys were way
more electronic than that.

Mostly synth, heavy use of Simmons, and maybe some soprano sax? If anyone can think of
anything, I'd appreciate it. I know it's a long shot and there were tons of bands that used the
drums back then...
