Batteries stuck

2005-11-24 by mikehock12

hello,

does anyone know how to get the AA batteries out of an SDS1 unit? i got
the first 2 out but the other two are rammed in there and won't come
out. DoI have to take the whole thing apart? any suggstions would be
greatly appreciated.

thanks

mike

Tap the whole thing gently against a bit of wood until the batteries
shake free. Obviously it helps to hold it with the battery holder
facing down...

I've noticed that Duracells are the worst for sticking, but are the only
ones that last more than 10 minutes.

Gordon.

I think either

1. Violence

or

2. Taking it apart

Normally there is some kind of thin plastic tube inside the battery-slot, the first two batteries fall out, the rest stays inside. I put the end of a drumstick in the slot, bend it slightly to one side and pull out. So i get the tube out together with the last two batteries.
