You can adjust everything with the MTM. It will just take longer than usual. ^^ ----- Mail d'origine ----- De: Nick Zampiello <newallianceeast@yahoo.com> À: Simmons Drums <Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com> Envoyé: Wed, 15 May 2013 18:21:01 +0200 (CEST) Objet: Re: [Simmons Drums] MTM & SDSV via MIDI i'm not sure that the old Simmons stuff can remap notes etc. you might want a cheap midi filter or something... i don;t have a MTM but the SDS1000 is locked to the preset midi notes i believe z NEW ALLIANCE EAST!!!! -------------------------------------- New Alliance East - Mastering New Alliance East - Facebook X :::: B :::: S ________________________________ From: Thomas <tom@...> To: Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com Sent: Wednesday, May 15, 2013 9:55 AM Subject: [Simmons Drums] MTM & SDSV via MIDI Hello all! Long time lurker, and seldom poster here... I have been searching through the old postings, but I haven't been able to find any good answers so far. What I am trying to do, is trigger an SDSV via MIDI, utilizing an MTM. I have been reading through the manual, and I can see that the default notes to play with on the MIDI side are C4 E4 G4 B4 C5 E5 G5 B5. I am really only concerned with the 4th octave notes, since the SDSV currently only has 4 modules installed. I took the 3rd TOM out and placed it in the SDSV I use for "live" playing. ( Incidentally, the unit I want to trigger via MIDI is serial #284, which I am led to believe was once owned and used by Michael Dawe, drummer for Robert Palmer, just in case anyone was interested. ) Does anyone have experience with triggering in this manner, and if so, do they have any tips that I can use to program the MTM in a quick and easy fashion? Anything helps really. The manual doesn't seem to cover what I am specifically attempting to do, but I may be overlooking it... Thanks in advance!
