Aouch!

Looks like someone nicked not just the prom but also the CEM(s?). I'm 
not at home so I cannot check, but these are the parts you "steal" if 
you can. The CEM ICs are expensive today and can be used to repair a lot 
more expensive machines. Hence the robbery. It's probably possible to 
repair, but I doubt it's worth it unless you're a solderer yourself.

Been down the same painful road of insight... :(

I think Ed can help you with knobs and caps! :D
