I agree, I always hated the SDS7 original kick. Except the Dualsample cards where the samples has more material (a sort of LINN sounding ) than the original sucking one. After I'd expect you talking about the Analog part of it ? Also very light for a kick card... Maybe a phase problem could explain that. it would deserve to be investigated ... one day...
