Not really sure what your plans are.
Considering drummachines, I really like the Korg S3, soundwise, do no try
to understand it's programming, it's horrible. and I really like the Korg
ER-1, kind off "analogue" digital beast

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
