Hi all, first post for me :)
Just received my dream drum system... an SDSV.
I've had the pads from an SDS8 for some time now and I've been using a Roland brain until I eventually got myself the V.
Hello all other Hex heads!

A few Q's....

1) It has a snare and 5 tom modules, no bass. Does anybody know where I could get one from? Anybody on here with a spare? 

2) It's missing it's cover too. Same as above, any ideas? Do plans exist to get one remade?

3) I've tried using an "XLR to jack" lead (standard mic lead) to trigger from the SDS8 pads but I'm getting no response. I can however trigger if I simply use a "jack to jack" lead in the synth input socket. 
Is it just as good to use this input from the pads? Is a standard XLR lead ok?

4) Apparently it had a wiring loom attached at some point. I notice the pad sockets are wired to each other in series on the inside of the socket. Could this be the cause of 3)?
