ha ha Jesper... it sounds stupid as ever... the same way people are buying SDSV 200euros & selling them (or trying to ) 800 or 1000 euros... SDSIII for 1500 / 2000 euros.... The fashion you're talking about is in fact some people speculating on the music world... & others proud of buying (!!!) thinking that if it is expensive then it has something special... or just wealthy collectors .... anyway... I saw recently an EMu very cheap in adv, tryed too late so missed it ,but found it again on ebay a week later , completely dismantled... sold card by card ... Like the US guy who bought Phil Collins SDSV, & sold it channel by channel, (nearly screw by screw) after while... I know a few guys like this in the Simmons world but also in the Fairlight one & so on... I have some names if someone interested off line ;-) the worse is that some people are buying from them , very happy to be one of the few people having this "privilege "... Who is the idiot ? really... is it really a market law ? don't think so ... But it's obvious some guys want to be (a bit more) rich, pay their taxes, or new synths :-) I can tell you that Dave himself find all that so stupid ... anyway ...
