Page 84 in the manual says: "CLEAR is a utility function which allows any kit, song or sequence to be initialised with it's default settings". The "default settings" are explained on page 99 The question is: Does the Portakit still know what "default settings" are after a battery change? I don't know if there is something like a global factory reset. The common way would be to import a SysEx backup if you have one (what I doubt...).
