you still need one controller per pad, and what's the use? Why trying to emulate something that isn't there. A pad from say a spd20 or trixer is to small, so no zoning possible Take a Yamaha A3000 and assign 6 controllers up to velocity, that makes a hell off nice sounds!! believe me, no music, but nice noise haahaaha Joking, this really works great Berk >-- Oorspronkelijk bericht -- >To: Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com >From: Patrice Jacquot <Jacquot.Patrice@...> >Date: Sat, 12 Sep 2009 00:06:02 +0200 >Subject: Re: Betr: Re: [Simmons Drums] Re: Use any simmon pads with sdx? >Reply-To: Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com > > >or modulation values edited on a drumkat ... followong the pads... the >pressure...the hh pedal ...the breathcontroller... the D-Beam from a >Roland system ... > > > >Le 11 sept. 09 à 23:52, Patrice Jacquot a écrit : > >> what about a continuous signal pedal ? >> >> Le 11 sept. 09 à 23:50, Berk Aarts a écrit : >> >> > I opened a SDX pad a few times >> > IMO they are FSR's, but they sense the positioning by a kind off >> > wireframe >> > underneath the foil.
