Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

How well does something like the Portakit (or DrumKat, for that matter) work with the SDX? They both use FSR, although I don't know about "zone intelligence." I'm guessing that the zones otherwise on an SDX pad could then be spread out among different pads or surfaces on the Portakit?
