Scary... foam is a crappy material over years. Many synthesizers suffer 
from FRS - foam rot syndrome. On the Chromalist it's a problem almost 
everyone has heard of. Nice cherry end cheeks and sticky black foam is 
not a nice comination... :(

The suitcase kit looks extremely cool though and I guess you can refoam 
it at your local camera case designer or similar. I used to live close 
to a store which only cut foam from morning 'til night.

Bordering on on-topic: I got my Drumfire delivered by DHL today. Not the 
quite common two channel unit seen on Ebay from time to time but the 
five channel desktop version, similar to the SDS-8. Crunchy and 
outworldly sound, similar to my UP K2-X. It came in the original box 
which was a nice surprise since I missed that part of the auction... :D
