OK, here we are today. Patrice, after the messages from both you and Wolfgang, I powered up the SDX and all of a sudden it booted from the HD !!! Strange, but it seems you have to give it at least 30 seconds between boots. Powering up now seems intermittent in that sometimes booting takes longer than other times. Anyway, I still think I need to reconfigure the drive a different way as a result of these error screens: http://home.wi.rr.com/zengine/SDX%20Screenshots/ Otherwise, making forward progress.
