Now about this message 'could not load header'...


Here is  what dave told me about a specific situation ...don't know if  
it can help you but it could give an idea...


"If you change Syquest disk (say swapping from Keyboards to Drums)
you may see some error messages when you initially try &
  access the Syquest after changing disk ('cannot load header')
Do not worry, simply select the SCSI0 again and SDX will see the  
disk..."

so it should mean that the SDX is losing contact with the disk ...

What about Master or Slave status ? Id number ?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
