Re: [Simmons Drums] SDX Discs

2008-04-08 by Patrice Jacquot

Hi Roland !
Welcome to the SDX World !!!

The SDX only manages 70M° of Hard disc (whatever might be his
capacity ...due to hardware limitations)
but you can add several HD...
My choice was some external ZIP Drive with 100M° ZIP cartdtriges...
I also have an internal 105M° SYQUEST...& still it's manages only 70M°
per cartridge...

I would suggest to use some external SCSI hard drives ...
But if you find another way ...why not...?

I have the full SDX official library...very creative & high market
samples..which I find the most interesting...
I could supply it.

& I have a few other AKAI digitally transfered multisampled
kits...Dave Weckl/Phil collins /Alan White which needs the all 8M°ram
each...

I also could supply them.

I also have one left copy of the huge amount of schematics
  pages if desired.

Please contact me on my personal email , & we'll discuss about it if
you're interested...
due the extreme rarity & value of these items, (I paid about £1500 for
my all sound collection all supplied from Simmons in 94)
all that isn't for free of course but I'm opened for fair swapping &
sharing.

therefore I will have to brief you about some System bugs that could
cost you unexpected sounds erasing...
Remember the softs you (& we all ) have NEVER HAD BEEN FINISHED !!!

But the sound of the SDX stays probably the Best everbuilt for
edrums !!!!
Depending of your own expectations of course ...

anyway,
  have a nice day !
Patrice.
