Groups Links > > > > Hi again, sorry I'm just discovering messages one after ones ... Well about the SDX, if someone is definitely thinking seriously to clone it , I'll have some request too...but the main one is to keep this incredible grain !!! Ten years ago, I proposed the idea to Dave to devellop a plug-in version but keeping a dedicated soundcard that would keep the dynamic & the analogic /digital grain...unfortunetaly soundunit had to close a bit after this ...but he seemed quite intersted in the concept , he simply didn't have the money to do it ... I think it could be a good beginning ... I think the big thing is that ; keeping a software Mac or PC based for the samples storage, editing & library, a triggering interface that allows Zones & especially that converters & filters quality ... After let's talk about the software & detailed requests... the pads will have to be Mesheads ones for the expanded dynamic it gives ... but Waow ; it's a big big work !!! As I said , good luck & let me know !!! Patrice. PS therefore Ithink that the most urgent to clone (?) in SImmons products is the less reliable one ; the SDS7 !!! a wonderful sound for so many angers to have lost the memories ... speak soon ...
