I've used velocity triggering for two sounds from one pad (Roland PM7??) and an Ensoniq ASR-10....ok, but unreliable, way too twitchy, and that's only two velocity layers and an '89-ish vinatge sampler. Some of the early Emax's had velocity layers (from memory - oops, showing my age) but I think they only had two layers total as opposed to the Ensoniq 16+/ASR's 8 layers....my brain hurts. don't think there was a sampler around pre-'83-ish that could do velocity layers. --- In Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com, <jesper@...> wrote: > > OK, you want to duplicate it - then I'm with you... sorry! :) > > electronically yours, jesper > - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - > www.electronic-obsession.se > > Order your own copy of the Machinepop/Imiafan > split-EP at www.electronic-obsession.se/label.asp > > "Varför har du så många pianon?"
