Re: [Simmons Drums] simmons sds7 drums

Barry i have just placed my sds7 brain into storage into my loft
today warapped in plastic and cardboard - it was last switched on
about 20 months ago before the birth of my daughter Lauren

- i do know inside the brain case a piece of solder has broken off -
so i don't even know as of today - if i turn on the sds7 brain it
will even work , and if settings will still be stored - my unit is 22
yrs old and still has original battery in it !

i have 1 kit written down on paper - the numerical values for each
setting voice - this was my fave kit sound - and programmed for me by
a studio engineer

i have just bought a new yamaha extreme 2 electronic drum kit to
replace my simmons - i may in future add my sds7 brain and 4 blue
sds7 pads to my new yamaha setup - to run along side it - 2 brains
powered up - yam and simmons - but i don't know yet ?

anyway i am in the uk - i never had a memory card for the sds7 and i
know no one else with a sds7 kit - i also read that each sds7 was
individually calibrated - so someone elses settings may not work on
your sds7 brain , i don't know if this is correct ?

the best i can do to help would be give you my fave kit settings
numerical values

all the best

Roger :-)
