That's exactly what the problem was. It works great with each drum going to a seperate channel in my board. My next question would be: When a module is plugged into slot 5, it is constantly triggered. I know about the little black tab in the socket on the backplane, but it is missing from this one. Would this cause the module to get slightly off track and ground out or self trigger? All other slots work great, and they have the little tab in them from what I can tell. If I have to, I can fashion something to fix it. Any suggestions? Tom --- In Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com, <michael.buchner@...> wrote: > > Yes, that's right. The so-called british XLR wiring. SDSV individual outs (not l/r and mono) are designed for microphone inputs on a mixing console, because Simmons thought of insertig the SDSV brain between drum mics and console (sweet dream...). To get a fat output (line level), remove all seven 68 ohm resistors on the backpanel (wired between pin 1 and 3 on all seven individual outputs). And if you have your SDSV opened already, you can change the output wiring. > Michael > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] >
