So a cymbal isn't just noise and hiss originally then. *lol* I meant that, 
the thing is that it's the same sound on both cards and that it's looped. I 
wasn't sure about the white noise stuff though...

Sounds like a later model intended for something else. Or is it maybe not a 
hihatpedal at all but a program switch pedal or similar?
