Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Hi Gordon,
 
I'll check the circuit board on my SDS-III tonight.
 
I supplied the SDS-III info for  simmons.synth.net, this is all hand drawn stuff which was
given to me by Mr. Simmons himself.
 
I would love to see a repro. version of the SDS-III, with some form of midi of course.
 
My favourite sounds from the SDS-III were the low (and loud) crash sounds I used to trigger
from my bass drum, awesome through a big P.A.

Wow. That's an incredibly simple circuit. Do you know if the board is
single - or double-layer? If it's single layer, a simple scan of the
track side would make it trivially easy to copy...
