except that most people who want simmons either have the gear they need via ebay or "back in the day" or if it's the sounds then then they are avaiible via sample cd's which may not give a full true simmons sound except with a lot of eq
if it's a diy kit then it's not a simmons
however if somebody was to pick up the baton and work with upgrading the sdx modules i'd be one of the first in line
