Aargh. Congratulations. I had been searching for months here in the Netherlands until I finally found an SDS8 which just happened to have been sold a day before. Luckily the buyer had no idea how to tweak the knobs to an acceptible sound and sold it again including 5 pads and a pearl drumrack with clamps and everyting. I just couldn't wait to get home and set it all up. Finally a Simmons. Still need to have it fixed to get rid of the hum, but that shouldn't be too hard I quess. I combined it with a Pearl DRX1 kit and a Roland TD5 for the cymbals. Still searching on the internet and in second hand shops but never before seen a bargain as Jesper's SDS2. Where are all the old ladies that are supposed to have original Simmons gear in the attic? --- In Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com, <jesper@e...> wrote: > superwolle: > > Maybe I should found a Simmons rental service as an additional business? > > Seriously speaking, there might be a market! > > > The SDS2, well, did you sell your body to get it? > > You'll cry blood if I tell you where I found it and how much I payed... > > OK, ready? > > Ebay.de and 76 euro - fully working! > > electronically yours, jesper > - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - > www.electronic-obsession.se
