M7 is the diameter in mm
to obtain inches multiply by .03937
7* .03937 = .27559
so a .282 hole should work quite nicely since you need a little clearance.

OK, I think I have my act together enough to start taking your orders

Dave Bradley about layout. Please copy me on that mail. As new
designs come in, I will add them to the list. I'll notify the list
when new panels are added so those interested can jump in.
