Panel Closeout Sale

Panel Closeout Sale

2009-08-26 by Scott Deyo

Hey all,

Here's a little sale to get some panels out of here, and make room for
all this new metal.

I have some panels that incorporate mods, which are not popular, or
have little mistakes in the screening ("ouput", etc.). All these will
be redone without mods, but until then...
20% off the following panels --
CGS Event Sequencer
CGS SubOscillator
Tau Pipe Phaser
MFOS VCO
MFOS ADSR
MFOS VCLFO
Tellun Gate ('A' and 'B' are switched! : (
YuSynth FFB

To order, email me, and I will make sure the panels are in stock, will
put them aside, and then you can pay.
Sale ends Sunday at midnight, at which point it will go online on the
site with any panels that are left, at only 10% off.

G'night!

This is sort of my fault. I could have helped Scott, I wasted enough time tossing opinions at him. Yet I was too lazy to sort out the changes on paper to make them better ( and these versions are better). Instead I just kept asking badly framed questions and complaining. Add to that that I said that I would help document the ones I was working on for ease of building and didn't deliver.

The suboscillator, Tau Pipe and CGS Event sequencer all deserve the Will and Bill treatment . In their modified form they in particular are tremendous additions to any synth or studio.

The fact that BC has to close these out is a shame and testament to what not sharing, not trying and procrastination gets you. You end up losing the good shit and you wonder why.

Naw, it's my responsibility to document any modifications, otherwise I can't be surprised if they don't sell. I was pretty much designing panels for myself in the beginning, I admit it.
: )
A few people have delved into those designs, but it's just not easy to read my mind. It's written in crayon.

I'll bring the SubOsc and Seq Switch back, but as they're designed by Ken.

The Tau Pipe, I should add, is changing. I'm going to take out the output attenuators and 1V/ oct trim, and add the Color and Invert switches.

Hey there Scott -

In the Tau, please consider including the second MOD FREQ LED - the one we left out of the current design because we thought a dual-color one could be used. We ended up drilling an extra hole in the panel which was no sweat to do - especially 'cause we were already step-drilling the one existing hole to the larger, MOTM-standard size.

Ken's Sub Osc and Sequential Switch look fascinating. We were pondering the Sub Osc about a week ago. We'll take a closer look FWIW.

Will took a first pass at a JH Son of Storm Tide Flanger panel. I still can't get the hang of how to post images up here so here's a URL to the design:

http://www.dragonflyalley.com/images/JHSOSTFlanger/JHSOSTFlangerV2vIIwidth2-56in.jpg

How's it look, guys?

And we're messing around with a design for JH's Paulie-Muug Resonator.

RE: Panel Closeout Sale

2009-08-27 by James Richardson

Hi Scott

If still available, I’ll take a YuSynth FFB panel (and a PCB to go with it).

I’m also intending to buy a Klee panel.  I’ve been holding off so as to combine an order with the MFOS sequencer panel (‘cos as ever it’s more cost effective if stuff is be sent together – customs here levy a fixed handling fee as well as duty/tax for every package that attracts their attention).

Can you let me know whether the MFOS sequencer panel is imminent or in real terms still a long way off.

Finally, are you able to supply Switchcraft style jack socket washers and if so what is the cost (and is there any price break for larger amounts)?

Cheers

James
