DotCom Cab Solution

DotCom Cab Solution

2008-03-07 by Scott Deyo

So, I had to drop my cabinet sales -- too much work, no space, prices
went up, blah blah blah.

Has anyone used DotCom cabs for MOTM modules? Does the double slant cab
have enough clearance for jacks on the bottom row?

I was thinking about making a "stubby rail" for the extra 4.75" and a
"stubby module" for the extra 1.25" -- 8-way mults or triple attenuator
or something. Then you wouldn't need a module to cover blank space.

Any ideas or comments?

Thanks!

I like the dot com cabinets a lot. The Stooge flat rails are the key to
making the conversion. The only modules that don't fit in the bottom
row are those with a Stooge 4-pot LONG bracket, such as the Miniwave.
Also, the very middle of the slant cabinet has a wooden brace that
limits the depth of the modules right there in the center.
