Anyway, I think that a 1U panel that was essentially half of the 2U panel Richard Brewster used for his dual unit would work fine: http://www.pugix.com/bottom-cabinet-lower.htm#tubevca If one were to saw it in half, then drill the screw holes in each new corner, that would work :) The only modification I can think of at the moment would be a switch (added to left side, between the pots like an MOTM 190 VCA) for changing the grid bias.
