Have you over looked some brackets or screws on the side of chassis or from inside the pan to chassis if the tool you made goes all the way across top of frame

Check under the foot well upper surface to frame (below where peddle box on one side and battery box on the other).The foam tape is only sticky on the frame

I stand corrected. It is a 1999 Mantaray Spyder and the VIN is SA9NMSXXWWK050227. Double checking the S/N on the Volvo 3 litre mentioned earlier. John
