Here's a bit of trivia for you.....did you know there was an arcade game in the mid 80s that had a real 6 ch 100% analog synth for sound? It was the Bally Sente SAC-1 system....which was like an early ancestor to the Neo Geo cart based system of the 90s. It used 6 CEM3394s under software control. I have several of the soundboards from that system...and, you can easily hack them to accept midi note on/off/pitch! I know all this because I was an arcade game repair technician years back. I forgot to mention that this board with the CEM chips was made by......drumroll......Sequential Circuits! Says so right on it. I believe the Six Trak/Multi-Trak and Max are based on it. -- Be Yourself @ mail.com! Choose From 200+ Email Addresses Get a Free Account at www.mail.com
