Here's a suggestion for you:

Under the machine, where those desintegrated air filters are, there is
a row of small fuses, including at least one for the keyboard. You may
check those as well. You can take off the bottom cover by unscrewing
all the screws on the white bottom plate. I recommend doing this while
the machine is resting on the small side where the cards are, not with
the machine on its top because in that case all the mess with fall
into the interior if it hasnt already.

I had the same problem with the air filter today and just finished
cleaning the unit. I now have a display issue but that is likely a
wrongly inserted card. I have a Q356 and it was in either of the Q256
slots. Probably I used the wrong slot.
