Re: Q133 card and lithium battery

2008-08-29 by billyrockplay

Hi Harald - thanks for the suggestion, I will check them but wouldn't the LEDs on the back
of the machine indicate if something was amiss with fuses? Also - I should have
mentioned in description of my problem that over the past month or so the machine
would freeze (meaning QWERT would become unresponsive) while working. This seemed
to happen while tending to other matters (such as recording audio tracks or mixing, fixing
using DAW Digital Performer. in hindsight it would seem the card (or whatever is the
nature of the prob is) was on its way out. I would re-boot Fairlight and all would be well
for a while.
As far as the battery - a new dilemma:
I have a question about the battery. This is the battery

As

Salesperson I insisted it would do the job. I sent these back and read the
Product # and battery info to the sales person - trying to get the exact
Same battery as on the q133 card - and to my dismay today when I checked the email
from radio
Shack it seems as though they are sending me the same battery again. Will
This battery work?

I am determined to keep my III functioning as long as I am able to make music.
