Axel Hartmann is one industrial designer, so its true about the "External Shell" of the synths...in that regard I think he is more successful with the Waldorf designs...I never liked the A6 looks...thats why I got one alternative front pannel and got into the trouble of changing that... In sound I think there is not a lot of common ground (except that they are all "not the MW" subtractive synths with a lot of modulation power) and for pads (warm smooth ones) I do think there is no comparison between the Q and A6...the A6 its a master piece...
