This would make me nervous. It's been sometime since I've opened up my AN1x, but I
would think perhaps the DC connector is affixed to the main board and had perhaps been
jarred loose - I had this happen to an inexpensive Compaq laptop.

Probably.

There have been similar reports to AN1x-list regarding this type of behavior with the
Ribbon Controller. In most cases the connection of the ribbon connector to the main board
from the Ribbon Controller is nightly tightly fastened.

There are eight buttons in the Knob Parameter Group which are used to select which group
of related parameters will be edited from the Assign Knobs, i.e. VCA, VCF, etc. When set to
Assign, the Assign Knobs use the settings programmed into the Ctrl Matrix for that
specific Voice to affect temporary changes to the Voice. If you were to hit Save, your
changes would not be stored. Consider this a 'performance mode' if you will.

When you select one of the remaining seven Parameter Groups, the Knobs are in 'edit'
mode and if you were to hit Save the currently edited Voice your changes would be stored.
Make sense?
