Jon, > nightly tightly fastened. Huh? (heh heh) Anyway --kalin - DC jack sometimes just switches the power off- it could be expected since this is obvously an old and not very gently used board (it even has a crack on the rear panel) so it needs a change; I think Jon's right. (It's been a while since I opened my unit up as well.) The jack is soldered to a board (maybe a sub unit, not the main board) with some other jacks, if I remember right. You probably have a broken solder joint which shouldn't take a technician much effort to correct. So, study Jon's answer carefully. He's the list moderator and has given you good info. Learn how to program all of those knobs, the ribbon controller, aftertouch, the wheels and when you are able to get an FC-7 or two, the pedals. I love all of the possibilities that the AN1x gives as a live controller. *Ed Edwards* ><> <>< <>< ><> http://www.ezekielswheel.com http://www.untiedmusic.com/ezekiel http://mysite.verizon.net/vze29bq6
