hiya group!
i have 16 designs at the painters/ silkscreeners, and they SAY it
should all be done next week. we'll see about that. but anyway, it
should be very soon. it's all MOTM format this time; DotCom will start
on the next run.
i sourced a local acrylic panel guy to protect us whilst gazing at our
tubes in the Metasonix TM-1M. those will be available (assembled only,
sorry) as soon as i get the boards from Eric.
did i mention cabinets are ready to be made? i have the protos, w/
(admittedly poor) photos on the site. mounting rails will be done w/
the panels. the carpenter is a professional; these things are solid!
(the one i made for a show once was held together by the modules,
pretty much, so it's a good thing i didn't try to tackle those ;)
i have three new brackets: MFOS (3 pot, various holes, will have to
drill 4th corner's hole if you're retentive), 3-jack vertical (w/
larger middle hole for pushbutton (think Tellun), CGS- and some
Tellun-spaced holes), and Metasonix (purchasable w/ panel for putting
your yellow TM-1M behind a 2U black MOTM-format panel.
mixed news on the Neural Agonizer: somewhere between me, my metal guys,
and my fax machine, the Neural Agonizer design was lost. bad news for
me who wanted to finally finish my NA! :) good news: Doug Wellington
is making the NA anyways, so that's good. sorry to everyone who was
waiting along w/ me, but... Doug will save us :)
i've contracted out PCB population/soldering to a professional friend.
this will make life much easier on the assembled module tip and free up
some time for designing new panels and PCBs! wheeee!
happy patching!
peace,
Scott Deyo
