Subject: any dotcom/moog format uVCO interest?

From: Suit & Tie Guy <erwill@...>

I just finished a layout for the MOTM uVCO because i wanted to build
the oscillator for my own system, and Paul very awesomely making the
PCBs available by themselves.

would any of you like one of these? it will be about a month before i
can ship them, but here's a mockup: http://stgsoundlabs.com/
motm_micro_vco_mockup.jpg

the holes do not line up with the original locations of the Spactrol
pots, as i'll be using alpha pots and i don't like the layout of a
module dictated by a need to mount the PCB via pots to the front panel.

i could ship it with hardware to mount the uVCO board with and a
dotcom power adapter board already installed with leads soldered and
labeled for the MOTM PCB. the cards would mount as per this photo:

the layout is also in a Moog style, named the way i would want it in
my system (every modular synth needs a King Crimson reference), and
does not look like a dotcom module: it looks like a Moog module. i'd
actually sell this panel and the hardware discounted to 30 dollars
shipped within the US for anyone who wanted one bad enough to pay for
one now. i'm assuming the demand for this may be limited to myself
and my pals in the Central Illinois Electro Posse. on the other hand,
i wound up selling 16 of the Doepfer Quantiser panels, so anything's
possible.

i'll probably make them anyway, but i was hem-hawing about wether to
throw this on the order or a mixer module or more Yves Usson Gate
Delay panels on my next run of stuff and thought asking this (and the
dotcomformat) list would be a good idea.

please reply in private email if you're interested. if you happen to
be viewing this with Yahoo!'s group message viewer, that address is
on the front page of the suitandtieguy.com site.

thanks,
